Wednesday, August 23, 2017 Yesterday, after getting our loaded trailer in Topeka, we drove across Kansas and enjoyed a nice sunset at the end of the day. Today we're driving across Colorado, and that means we have to cross the Colorado Rocky Mountains. This is day two of our three day drive from Topeka, Kansas to Ontario, California. Thursday, August 10, 2017 Today we tackle the Colorado Rocky Mountains! We'll climb two major summits and pass through four tunnels as we travel eastbound on Interstate 70 as we continue our journey to Missouri. The longest of the four tunnels is the Eisenhower–Edwin C.
