Today we continue on our journey from North Las Vegas, Nevada to Lacey, Washington. Yesterday, we made it as far as Hawthorne, Nevada where we parked for the night at the Golden Gate Travel Center. From Hawthorne, we'll head north on US Highway 95 to Fallon and then head west on US Highway 50 to Fernley where we'll pick up Interstate Highway 80 west. Making Delivery in Las Vegas, and then Some Home Time!

Our delivery appointment for this load is at noon, so I'm able to get a leisurely start to the day. I'll leave Trucker Kitty at home while I head over to the drop yard to get the truck and drive about two miles to the receiver. This delivery was set up as a live unload, but turned out to be a drop and hook instead, so I didn't have time to do any recording. Now it's time for some much needed time off at home!
