The Pre-Trip Inspection – A Daily Routine
At the beginning of each driving day, I perform a pre-trip inspection of both my tractor and trailer. In addition to a visual inspection of the air lines, power pigtail, and tires, I check to ensure that the kingpin and trailer tandem handles have not been pulled by anyone.
