After 23 hours of down time in Newport, Maine, we've got a short drive to Dexter to pick up our next load: shoes to run to Wisconsin. I wasn't expecting to find our roadway torn up in Dexter, so we had to deal with that once we got to town. Last night we parked in a pullout on California Highway 139 about 14 miles south of Tulelake, California. Today we're driving north into Oregon and Washington with a brief stop at the Pilot Travel Center in Klamath Falls. Today we continue on our journey from North Las Vegas, Nevada to Lacey, Washington. Yesterday, we made it as far as Hawthorne, Nevada where we parked for the night at the Golden Gate Travel Center. From Hawthorne, we'll head north on US Highway 95 to Fallon and then head west on US Highway 50 to Fernley where we'll pick up Interstate Highway 80 west.
