Cooking in your truck can be a healthier and more cost effective alternative to eating truck stop food.
I like to use my Crock-Pot® slow cooker to cook pot roasts.
These pre-packaged pot roast dinners from Walmart provide four to five meals for less than the cost of one meal at a truck stop restaurant.

Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker
This six-quart slow cooker has built in clamps for securing the lid.
It’s designed for carrying to a pot-luck, but I find it very useful for worry free cooking in my truck.
Slow Cooker Liners
In order to clean my slow cooker, I have to lug it into a truck stop that might have a sink large enough to clean it.
By using these liners, all I have to do is pull the liner out and drop it into the trash!
Zatarain’s Seasoning
Because everything needs a little Zatarain’s!
Chicago Cutlery 5″ Partoku® Knife
This is a very inexpensive knife I picked up at Walmart. I use it regularly and it never fails to cut my veggies!
Velcro Straps
I use a couple of these straps to secure my slow cooker to the table so it doesn’t move while I’m driving.
