Yesterday we picked up this load to Greenville, South Carolina in Houston, Texas and made it as far as the Flying J in Baytown, Texas after dealing with road construction and rush hour Houston traffic.
If you haven’t watched that video yet, I recommend you watch that video first: Hooking the Loaded Trailer in Houston
Today, we’ll only cover 290 miles to the Petro Travel Center in Hammond, Louisiana after slow downs due to a couple of accidents and Baton Rouge rush hour traffic.
Fortunately, there’s time on this load, so I’m not too worried.
This map shows the route we will take during the next couple of days:
Cities and Towns Featured Along the Way:
Scenic Points Along the Way:
- Atchafalaya Basin
- Henderson Swamp
Roads Travelled:

I hope you enjoy this video; I recommend viewing it in full screen mode.
