Truck Stop Shut Down
The Denver Pilot truck stop shut down?!? Who knew? I was there just a few weeks ago!
An Easy Day?
Today should be an easy day; make the delivery in Brighton, Colorado first thing in the morning and then head about 20 minutes south to drop my now empty trailer at the place I’m picking up tomorrow’s load.
Once I drop the empty trailer we’ll head over to the nearby TA Travel Center for a truck wash, a shower and something to eat before heading over to a nearby SpeedCo truck service center to get the truck chassis lubed.
No Shower or Truck Wash
Unfortunately, both the Blue Beacon truck wash and showers at the TA Travel Center in Commerce City were backed up for over an hour each. After giving up on those things, we’ll just take care of getting the truck serviced and call it a day.
