A Long and Interesting Day
Today has been a long and interesting day!
Things started out OK, but went downhill after dropping our loaded trailer at Schneider’s drop yard in Sumner.
We were supposed to deliver this load to the receiver, but it was rescheduled for after the weekend.
Trailer Troubles
Schneider’s drop yard is near this receiver, so it was no big deal going there instead, but there was an issue with getting an empty trailer.
No Load for You!
Once that issue was resolved, we drove over 100 miles south to our next scheduled pick up, which wasn’t available!
After sorting through that, we booked another load in Lebanon, Oregon for tomorrow; another 130 miles to the south.
We drove about 70 miles to the TA Travel Center in Aurora, Oregon and shut down for the night.
Some days are more interesting than others!

It’s going to be a better trucking day. We’ll drive to the next shipper in Lebanon, one I’ve been to many times.
