Not Going Home Tomorrow After All

Today’s Journey

Today’s plan was to deliver this load in Phoenix and then pick up a load in Buckeye that is going home to Las Vegas tomorrow!

Indio, California is where we’re starting our day today and we’re heading for Phoenix, Arizona to deliver a load we picked up in San Bernardino yesterday.

It’s a nice day for a drive across the Sonoran Desert of California and Arizona.

Going Home Tomorrow?

After we make our delivery in Phoenix, we’ll head back to Buckeye to pick up the load that’ll bring us home; and that was when the plan to get home by tomorrow fell apart.

Fortunately, it all works out in the end.

A Day Off in Phoenix Then Tacoma-Bound

Thanks to the SNAFU at the shipper in Buckeye Friday afternoon, we’ll spend Saturday at the Pilot in Avondale, Arizona (near Phoenix).

I’ll take advantage of the down time to visit a nearby Best Buy and pick up the new GoPro camera I’ve been planning to get.

I’m finally going to be able to film with two cameras while driving; although, it’s going to take a bit to work out the logistics of that.
