Today’s Journey
Today we’re going to complete our long-haul cross-country run from Edison, New Jersey to San Bernardino, California; and, it’s going to be an interesting day.
I’ll start the day with a tour of the shower rooms at the Petro Travel Stop in Kingman, Arizona.
After my shower, we’ll hit the road and complete the final leg of our 2,700 mile cross-country run from Edison, New Jersey to San Bernardino, California:
But first, we’ve got to cross the Mojave Desert and descend over 2,700 feet (830 meters) from Cajon Pass into San Bernardino to make delivery.
After making delivery, we’ll head to one of Schneider National’s drop yards to pick up our next load, which is bound for Phoenix, Arizona.
Shortly before we’re done for the night, we’ll get to see a meteor fall to earth!
