Chicago-Land During Rush Hour in the Rain

Today’s Journey

After picking up this load in Eagan last night, we drove about 140 miles to the Flying J Travel Center in Black River Falls, Wisconsin.

Today we’ll finish up the drive through Wisconsin and Illinois, but we’ll run into rain and rush-hour traffic while driving through Chicago-Land!

This is really going to slow us down and lead to a later than expected shut down.

There’s Never Enough Truck Parking

Getting caught up in Chicago-Land traffic in the rain yesterday really slowed us down.

This forces me to deal with the ever present issue of there not being enough truck parking.
