Hauling Toilet Paper Across Missouri and Southern Illinois

Yesterday after my camera ran out of room on it’s memory card while making the delivery in Muskogee, we drove back to Tulsa to pick up a load of toilet paper to take to Cincinnati.

We made it as far as Joplin, Missouri, where we’ll start today’s drive across Missouri and into Illinois.

Today’s Video

I hope you enjoy this video; it was recorded in Hi Def, so I recommend watching it in full screen mode for the best result:

What I was Listening to During Today’s Drive:

Lord of the FliesDuring today’s drive I listened to Lord of The Flies by William Golding.

This is sort of a classic that I’ve always wanted to read.

Being able to listen to it while driving is great. I listened to most of it yesterday, but still have a couple of hours remaining.

This is a story of what can happen when a group of children are stranded on a deserted island with no adults around.

They have to learn to depend on each other to survive, but it’s also a story of what can happen when their baser instincts aren’t checked by adults.
