After some much needed time off, we’re getting back on the road again! We picked up our load yesterday and parked the truck back at the drop yard; this load has enough time on it that I could stay home another night.
Before we could go, however, we had to drop off my bi-annual physical paperwork at the DMV, which took longer than I expected.

After getting fuel, we’ll head out of town north on US Highway 95 towards Hawthorne, Nevada. Along the way, we’ll pass the Area 51 Alien Travel Center and Brothel.
We’re hauling this load to Lacey, Washington, near Tacoma, and have three days to cover the 1,100 miles, so covering the 312 miles to Hawthorne today works well.
